Overview

The UNV People & Culture Officer will support the Cote d’Ivoire Country Office's People & Culture management work, focusing on Learning & Development, Innovation, change management, and People analytics.


Key Responsibilities
  • Keep abreast, research, benchmark, and implement best and cutting-edge practices in P&C management and introduce innovation.
  • Provide support on UN volunteers recruitment, career development, and performance management.
  • Support data analytics and learning & development initiatives.
  • Help supervisors in implementing efficient client services.
  • Analyze and synthesize issues and problems in assigned casework.
  • Design and deliver learning plans for staff.
  • Contribute to the mapping of competencies for all staff.
  • Recommend efficient and cost-effective learning products.
  • Participate in capacity building initiatives.
  • Lead the development of the CO P&C SharePoint page and digitalization of HR administration processes.
  • Interpret and analyze HR data to inform strategic decision making.
  • Develop data collection systems to optimize data quality.
Required Experience

7 years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

Master's degree in Human Resource Management, business Management, international relations, psychology or other related field. Relevant HR Certification is an asset.

Remuneration
The applicable Volunteer Living Allowance is provided monthly to cover housing, utilities and normal cost of living expenses. Life, health and permanent disability insurance are included. A Well-Being Differential (WBD) will be provided monthly in non-family duty stations that belong to hardship categories D or E.
