Overview
The IT Service Officer – Networks and Telecommunications role supports the transformation and modernisation of European Commission departments, institutions, and agencies by providing secure, reliable, and resilient corporate network and telecommunication services.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure harmonized implementation of ITIL Service Management processes and act as process owner.
- Ensure availability of a Service Management tooling platform.
- Conduct regular compliance checks within service providers.
- Lead transversal work to ensure full compliance with EC Cybersecurity framework.
- Management of security activities and controls.
- Lead Local Portfolio Management activities.
- Act as Data Protection Officer across all services.
- Promote the use of SAFe Agile Methodology.
- Align closely with customers and stakeholders.
Required Experience
Strong background on IT Service Management tools and processes combined with Cybersecurity and IT Risk Management frameworks and techniques. Previous experience in Cybersecurity and IT Risk Management Frameworks. Strong background in Program management.
