Overview
The Senior Officer Talent Acquisition will provide dedicated short-term recruitment support for a 12-week emergency response period, focusing on identifying, attracting, and rapidly recruiting qualified national and international candidates for programmatic and operational roles.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the full recruitment cycle for a portfolio of positions.
- Collaborate with hiring managers to understand role requirements, timelines, and selection criteria.
- Develop targeted sourcing strategies to attract qualified and diverse candidates.
- Proactively source candidates through job boards, social media, professional networks, and talent pipelines.
- Draft, revise, and post job openings in line with IRC standards.
- Review applications and screen candidates.
- Conduct and coordinate structured interviews (phone, virtual, and in-person as applicable).
- Ensure a positive and professional candidate experience.
- Support reference checks and offer negotiation processes.
- Work closely with the Emergency Unit and DRC Country Office HR teams to align recruitment priorities.
- Provide regular updates to hiring managers on candidate pipeline status and recruitment progress.
- Advise recruitment teams on talent availability and best recruitment practices.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate records in IRC recruitment systems.
- Ensure compliance with IRC recruitment policies and protection standards.
- Track recruitment metrics and contribute to reports as needed.
- Build and maintain a database of qualified active and passive candidates.
- Strengthen talent pipelines for critical and hard-to-fill positions.
- Identify opportunities to improve recruitment efficiency during the reinforcement period.
Required Experience
- Minimum 3 years of experience in recruitment or human resources.
- Demonstrated experience in managing end-to-end recruitment processes.
- Strong candidate sourcing and engagement skills.
- Experience in conducting structured interviews.
