Overview
Consultant to conduct English language training for UNICEF Guinea staff to improve their written and oral communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct initial language assessment of staff.
- Develop an English language learning plan and training methodology.
- Deliver English language training sessions.
- Develop learning materials, exercises and assignments.
- Support participants in improving written and oral communication skills.
- Conduct periodic assessments to monitor learning progress.
- Provide monthly progress reports and recommendations.
- Submit a final report summarizing activities, participation, progress, and recommendations.
Required Experience
- Minimum five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in teaching English as a second or foreign language.
- Demonstrated experience delivering English language training to adult learners in professional or corporate environments.
- Experience conducting language assessments and developing customized learning plans.
- Proven ability to design interactive and practical training materials.
- Experience working with international organizations, UN agencies, NGOs or development partners is an asset.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
- Professional certification in Teaching English as a Second Language (TESOL), TEFL, CELTA, DELTA or equivalent is highly desirable.
