Overview

Consultant to conduct English language training for UNICEF Guinea staff to improve their written and oral communication skills.


Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct initial language assessment of staff.
  • Develop an English language learning plan and training methodology.
  • Deliver English language training sessions.
  • Develop learning materials, exercises and assignments.
  • Support participants in improving written and oral communication skills.
  • Conduct periodic assessments to monitor learning progress.
  • Provide monthly progress reports and recommendations.
  • Submit a final report summarizing activities, participation, progress, and recommendations.
Required Experience
  • Minimum five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in teaching English as a second or foreign language.
  • Demonstrated experience delivering English language training to adult learners in professional or corporate environments.
  • Experience conducting language assessments and developing customized learning plans.
  • Proven ability to design interactive and practical training materials.
  • Experience working with international organizations, UN agencies, NGOs or development partners is an asset.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • Professional certification in Teaching English as a Second Language (TESOL), TEFL, CELTA, DELTA or equivalent is highly desirable.
