Overview
This role contributes to the finance vision of being a true business partner to UNOPS projects, by providing advice and governance of project financial reporting and closure.
Key Responsibilities
- Management of Project Financial Closure & Verification of Final Financial Report
- Ensurance of efficient Project Fund Management and Budget release
- Ensurance of proper Partner financial oversight, refinement and capacity building
- Provides support and guidance on client reporting and other project finance-related matters
- Facilitation of knowledge building and knowledge sharing
Required Experience
- Secondary school (or equivalent) with 7 years of relevant experience OR Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in any discipline with 3 years of relevant experience is required.
- Relevant experience is work in Finance, at either a national or international level, or related areas.
- Experience of working in multicultural environments or UN system organizations in a developing country is desired.
- Experience in development or humanitarian contexts is desired.
Qualifications
- Secondary school (or equivalent)
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in any discipline
- A degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or Public Administration is an advantage
- A globally or nationally recognized professional certificate in finance is desired.
