Overview
Support the implementation of the project in Guinea, focusing on empowering livelihoods and economic vitality in fragile and conflict zones. The role involves assisting in project planning, coordination, implementation, and monitoring.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in planning, coordination, implementation, and monitoring of project activities.
- Support liaison with government officers for activity coordination.
- Compile, summarize, analyze, and present project information and data.
- Act as focal point for administrative coordination of project implementation.
- Draft status reports, correspondence, and project documentation.
- Organize meetings, workshops, and training sessions.
- Respond to information requests and maintain files/records.
- Monitor work of implementing partners and report non-compliance.
- Provide inputs for SOPs and concept papers.
- Provide guidance/training and coordinate/monitor work of other staff; may supervise staff.
Required Experience
- Bachelor’s degree with four years of relevant professional experience.
- School diploma with six (06) years of relevant experience.
- Experience and/or knowledge of project management, labour laws, labour migration, diaspora engagement policies.
- Experience with International Organizations is a considerable advantage.
- Migration governance is a distinct advantage.
- Experience in liaising with governmental authorities, national/international institutions, United Nations agencies and non-governmental organizations.
- Prior work experience with international humanitarian organizations, non-government or government institutions/organization in a multi-cultural setting is an advantage.
- Knowledge of migration, labour and trade institutions and processes is a distinct advantage.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Political or Social Sciences, International Relations, Development Studies, Migration Studies, Human Rights, Law or related fields from an accredited academic institution.
- School diploma.
