Overview
The role involves planning, performing, reporting, and following up on audits and desk-based work to assess plant health control systems and the implementation of EU legislation by Member States and non-EU Countries.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, perform, report and follow up on audits and other desk-based work to assess the performance of plant health control systems and the implementation of relevant EU legislation by Member States and non-EU Countries.
- Carry out audits of Member States and Third Countries in the area of plant health.
Required Experience
- Direct experience with plant health surveys or inspections would be desirable.
- Experience with auditing or supervising control systems for plant health and/or protection would be an advantage.
Qualifications
- A degree in a relevant discipline such as agronomy, plant pathology, biological sciences or equivalent.
- At least a level of education which corresponds to completed university studies of at least 3 years attested by a diploma.
