Overview

This consultancy aims to enhance the Sharia Prosecution team’s knowledge and practical skills in managing violence against women (VAW) cases, improving protection and access to justice for women victims and survivors.


Key Responsibilities
  • Develop an inception report with a work plan and methodology.
  • Meet with UN Women and focal points to discuss objectives, methods, and deliverables.
  • Discuss training needs and topics with focal points.
  • Prepare training material, pre- and post-training assessments.
  • Conduct a four-day training.
  • Develop and submit a training report.
  • Submit a final narrative report including achievements, methodology, lessons learned, and recommendations.
Required Experience
  • Minimum of 3 years of professional working experience in the field of violence against women, women’s protection and access to justice are required.
  • Experience in providing capacity-building training on women’s protection and women’s access to justice is required.
  • Working experience related to the national referral system is desirable.
  • Experience with the UN system or/and International Organizations is desirable.
  • Experience with the justice system is desirable.
Qualifications
  • A master’s degree in gender studies, human rights, law or any other related field is required.
  • A first-level university degree in combination with two additional years of qualifying experience may be accepted in lieu of the advanced university degree.
