Overview

Support project management, administrative, and operational activities for food systems initiatives within UNDP's Bureau for Policy and Programme Support (BPPS).


Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in preparing and reviewing presentations, briefing notes, and reports.
  • Conduct in-depth research and consolidate reports related to Food Systems.
  • Support internal communication and information dissemination.
  • Assist in data collection and document arrangement.
  • Support HR clearance, recruitment documentation, and onboarding/offboarding processes.
  • Monitor HR mandatory requirements and learning activities.
  • Consolidate documents for Procurement processes and assist with GPN Roster vetting.
  • Support the coordination of virtual and face-to-face events and workshops.
  • Assist with travel arrangements and follow-up on travel claims.
Required Experience
  • Domain of MS Office package and Zoom settings.
  • Experience in data collection, analysis, interpretation and presentation is an advantage.
  • Experience in programme management support, operations and coordination is an advantage.
  • Experience in the preparation of (virtual) events and workshops is an asset.
Qualifications
  • Enrolled in the final academic year of a first university degree programme (minimum bachelor’s level or equivalent) in Project Management, Administration, Operations, Human Resources, Supply Chain management, environmental management, agriculture, sustainable development, economics, global development, social or political sciences, international relations or any other related fields; OR
  • Enrolled in a graduate school programme (second university degree or equivalent, or higher) in Project Management, Administration, Operations, Human Resources, Supply Chain management, environmental management, agriculture, sustainable development, economics, global development, social or political sciences, international relations or any other related fields; OR
  • Recently graduated with a university degree (as defined above) and, if selected, must start the internship within one year of graduation.
