Overview
The Project Assistant (G3) will assist the Labour Mobility and Social Inclusion (LMI) Head of Unit with project implementation and support new project development within the IOM Country Office.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the implementation and follow-up of project activities, including research, administrative tasks, and logistical organization of meetings and events.
- Draft/format meeting reports, minutes, correspondence, letters, reports, memoranda, and IOM documents.
- Support the development of new projects by assisting with the drafting/formatting of concept notes and project proposals.
- Assist in drafting/formatting public information documents, website articles, press releases, and information dissemination.
- Assist in identifying possible partnerships with private sector, civil society, and other stakeholders.
- Assist with the drafting/formatting of presentations and speeches.
- Prepare for, participate in, and follow-up on meetings/conferences.
Required Experience
- Demonstrated first working experience or internship in project management, reporting, or monitoring and evaluation of projects.
- Demonstrated first working experience or internship in migrant integration or labour migration.
- Experience in liaison with non-governmental organizations, national, regional and international authorities and institutions is an advantage.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in economics, social science, migration studies or related field from an accredited academic institution with one year of relevant professional experience.
- OR Completed High School degree with three years of relevant professional experience.
