Overview

The Digital Transformation Associate will support UNDP's governance and digital transformation portfolio by contributing to analytical work, coordination, and knowledge generation related to cybersecurity, digital governance, digital transformation, and emerging technologies.


Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the collection, organization, and preliminary review of information related to cybersecurity, digital governance, digital transformation, and emerging digital trends.
  • Support the preparation and formatting of background notes, concept notes, briefs, and presentations.
  • Assist in compiling and organizing information on initiatives, stakeholders, and institutional frameworks.
  • Contribute to the documentation and organization of good practices, lessons learned, and case studies.
  • Provide logistical and coordination support for meetings, workshops, and coordination spaces.
  • Support the monitoring and documentation of ongoing activities.
  • Assist in drafting and editing communication and knowledge products.
  • Perform other related tasks as requested by the supervisor.
Required Experience
  • 1 month Donor priorities . Nationality Candidate must be a national of a country other than the country of assignment. Additional eligibility criteria This assignment is funded by the Government of Korea and therefore specific criteria apply:
  • - Candidates must be Korean nationals.
  • - Candidates must be between 22 and 29 years of age at the time of application.
  • - Candidates who have already served as UN Youth Volunteer funded by the Government of Korea are not eligible to apply (former UN University Volunteers are eligible).
  • - Serving UN Volunteers will not be considered for other UN Volunteer assignments until they reach three (3) months before the end of contract date of their current UN Volunteer assignment.
  • - Candidates may apply to a maximum of three assignments and indicate the order of preference in the ‘Additional remarks’ field when filling in the application form.
  • - Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
  • - The selection will be done by the UN Host Entity at the level of the country of assignment.
  • Relevant experience 1 year
  • Demonstrated interest or experience (up to three years) in:
  • * Cybersecurity and information security fundamentals
  • * Digital transformation and e-government initiatives
  • * Digital governance, public sector innovation, or institutional modernization
  • * Data protection, digital risks, or responsible use of technology
  • * ICTs and emerging digital solutions in development or public sector contexts
Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Systems, Digital Transformation, Digital Governance, Public Policy with a technology focus, or other closely related fields
