Overview

The M&E Officer will establish and strengthen monitoring and learning systems to improve implementation quality. Responsibilities include data collection, management, analysis, and reporting.


Key Responsibilities
  • Establish and strengthen monitoring and learning systems.
  • Collect, manage, analyze, and report data.
  • Prepare monthly and annual reports.
  • Participate in research activities and assessments (baseline, midline, final evaluations).
  • Ensure monitoring and learning processes are in place and functioning.
  • Facilitate information reflection and recommendations with project teams and communities.
  • Build capacity of project staff, health workers, and data entry clerks.
  • Lead data analysis using SPSS or other software.
  • Produce timely, consolidated reports on project progress and recommendations.
  • Support assessment, design, evaluation, and semi/annual reports.
  • Support the Project Manager in producing high-quality donor and FO reports.
  • Document success stories, promotional materials, and activity reports with evidence.
Required Experience

At least 3 years of experience in program/project planning and/or design, monitoring, and evaluation. Demonstrated competency in implementing assessments/evaluations, including designing methodology, data collection and analysis tools, managing field data collection, and analyzing data. Previous experience in delivering training.

Qualifications

Bachelor degree of development management, social science or related fields. Degree or training in monitoring & evaluation, or program/project planning.
