Overview
Provide technical and strategic support to a project team and consortium partners to ensure quality delivery of disaster preparedness and response interventions.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead organizational assessments in target municipalities to identify DRRM training needs
- Design and guide participatory, inclusive, and gender-responsive DRR strategies and tools
- Support pilot testing of digital Rapid Damage and Needs Assessment (RDNA) in Maguindanao del Sur
- Facilitate consultations, partnerships, and coordination meetings with key stakeholders
- Track project progress and recommend corrective actions as needed
- Support emergency preparedness and response operations when required
Required Experience
At least 5 years of experience in community organizing and development, with strong exposure to DRRM. Proven experience in preparedness, response, recovery, and risk reduction programming. Experience in the development or humanitarian sector is highly desirable.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Community Development, Behavioral Sciences, or related field. Training in: Community Development/Organizing, Project/Program Management, Participatory Approaches, Gender & Cultural Sensitivity, Disaster Risk Reduction and Management.
