Overview
Responsible for the design, planning, and delivery of gender transformative projects throughout the project management cycle, leading the project team and managing all project aspects.
Key Responsibilities
- Contribute to project idea initiation and partner identification.
- Ensure project feasibility by leading due diligence, shaping scope, analyzing risks, managing pre-startup activities, and embedding safeguarding measures.
- Collaborate with partners to establish governance structures and develop detailed implementation plans.
- Lead project implementation by coordinating teams, overseeing monitoring and evaluation, managing risks, procurement, and finances.
- Ensure effective project monitoring and evaluation by establishing data collection systems.
- Ensure smooth project closure by reviewing achievements, finalizing activities, leading evaluations, submitting reports, and maintaining institutional memory.
- Provide leadership by modeling values, motivating the team, clarifying objectives, and distributing tasks.
Required Experience
- Experienced in project management.
- Experienced in working with partner organisations (co-creating and mutual oversight).
- Knowledgeable and experienced in project budgeting, activities and expenditure monitoring.
- Knowledgeable and experienced in M&E activities tracking, evaluation and reporting.
- Understanding of human resources management and procedures.
- Understanding of procurement processes and supply chain management.
- Experienced in managing people/teams.
- Good working knowledge of donor compliance.
