Overview

The consultant will lead the preparation and completion of deliverables, provide technical support, and coordinate consultations with stakeholders for the dissemination and operationalization of the Environment and Natural Resources Law Enforcement Manual of Operations.


Key Responsibilities
  • Leading the preparation and completion of the deliverables in close consultation and under the guidance of DENR;
  • Providing technical support in attaining the outputs;
  • Coordinating and facilitating consultations with all relevant stakeholders to facilitate the smooth completion of the deliverables, including undertaking domestic travel where needed.
Required Experience

A minimum of two years of progressive experience in communications, journalism, public information, social media management or a closely related field is required. Experience in Environmental and Natural Resources Law, Administrative Law, and/or Public Policy is desired. Experience in graphic design and proficiency in content development, editing, and visual communication tools is desired. Experience working with a government agency or international organization is an asset.

Qualifications

An advanced university degree (master’s degree or equivalent) in Environmental Law, Administrative Law, International Relations, Public Policy, or Legal Studies, Communications, Graphic Design, Journalism, or a closely related field is required. A first-level (undergraduate) degree in Law, Public Policy, or Legal Studies, with two additional years of relevant professional experience may be considered in lieu of an advanced university degree.
