Senior Project Associate (AVRR)

Overview

The Senior Project Associate (AVRR) supports project compliance, monitoring, evaluation, and reporting activities for the Assisted Voluntary Return and Reintegration (AVRR) Unit. The role also involves organizing and supporting outreach activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Support Project Compliance, Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E) and reporting activities for the AVRR Unit.
• Assist in updating and adapting M&E tools.
• Prepare and update informational materials for outreach activities.
• Organize outreach activities including RC visits and virtual meetings.
• Support monitoring and evaluation activities for outreach initiatives.
• Train other team members on outreach and M&E activities.
• Undertake duty travel as needed.
• Document and file beneficiary case files.
• Provide inputs to assessments of the impact of outreach activities.
• Compile data and contribute to M&E reports.
• Support the documentation of good practices and lessons learned.
• Support the country office institutional reporting.

Required Experience

Experience in liaising with governmental authorities, national/international institutions, United Nations agencies and non-governmental organizations; Experience in working with migrants, refugees, internally displaced persons, victims of trafficking and other vulnerable groups; Prior work experience with international humanitarian organizations, non-government or government institutions/organization in a multi-cultural setting is an advantage. Previous experience supporting the monitoring and evaluation of projects, including projects involving vulnerable groups (i.e. Victims of Trafficking, unaccompanied minors) is a distinct advantage.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences, Development Studies, International Studies, Economics, Political Science, Migration Studies, or a related field from an accredited institution with four years professional experience, or; High school diploma with six years of relevant professional experience.
