Overview
The Displacement Tracking Matrix (DTM) Officer will be responsible for the coordination, supervision, and implementation of DTM activities in Haiti, serving as a primary source of information on displacement and mobility.
Key Responsibilities
- Review existing DTM mechanisms and contribute to improvements in methodologies and assessment tools.
- Track and monitor population movements, supervising DTM staff and providing guidance.
- Perform analysis of DTM data and contribute to reports, dashboards, maps, and factsheets.
- Conduct field missions to provide technical support and organize capacity-building activities.
- Participate in identifying mobility dynamics and relevant research fields.
- Represent DTM in inter-agency forums and liaise with stakeholders.
- Engage with stakeholders to ensure DTM data meets their needs.
- Provide technical and administrative support for data and research projects.
- Ensure compliance with data protection principles and ethical data collection practices.
Required Experience
- Two years of relevant professional experience with a Master’s degree, or four years of relevant professional experience with a University degree.
- Experience in emergency response in the field, including data or information management, in crisis, post-conflict, and other displacement situations.
- Previous experience in conflict areas is an advantage.
- Knowledge of DTM tools and experience in the region is an advantage.
Qualifications
Master’s degree in Political Science / International Relations, Economics, Social Sciences, Development Studies, Geography, Statistics, or a related field from an accredited academic institution; or, University degree in the above fields.
