Overview
Experienced monitoring and evaluation (M&E) professional to lead the design and implementation of a project’s monitoring, evaluation, research, and learning system. Ensures data systems generate reliable insights for program improvement and donor reporting, and strengthens learning and adaptive management.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the implementation of the project’s MERL framework and M&E plan
- Oversee data collection systems, tools, and databases to ensure quality and usability
- Design and manage midline and endline studies
- Track project performance and analyze data to inform decision-making
- Consolidate and validate reports for submission to donors and internal stakeholders
- Ensure timely and accurate reporting to the donor, National Office, and Country Office
- Facilitate feedback loops with communities and partners; integrate findings into program design
- Lead documentation and sharing of lessons learned and best practices
- Build capacity of staff and partners on participatory and gender-responsive M&E approaches
Required Experience
At least 3 years of relevant experience in MERL and community-based projects. Strong background in monitoring and evaluation systems, research design, and data analysis. Training in project management, participatory research, and M&E methods.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences, Statistics, Social Work, Community Development, or related fields.
