Overview
This volunteering project is in a youth center in Tirol, Austria, supporting youth workers and organizing leisure activities for youngsters aged 12 to 19.
Key Responsibilities
- Being part of the multi-professional “park in”-team
- Supporting the youth workers in the youth center
- Getting in to contact with youngsters actively
- Planning and organising youth leisure activities and events together with colleagues and youngsters
- Working at the Youth Café and doing basic cooking for and with youngsters
- Working with kids and youngsters (supporting them in spending their free-time in the youth center, for example playing different games, sports, talking, participating in activities with them)
- Using creativity to generate new ideas with young people
- Supporting social media for the youth center
- Taking part in regular team meetings
