Overview
This volunteer opportunity focuses on educational support, activities for vulnerable children, and youth engagement for disadvantaged individuals, with an emphasis on human rights, environment, and interculturality.
Key Responsibilities
- Participate in local and regional active citizenship and youth participation initiatives.
- Plan and participate in afternoon school support (homework, tutoring) and organize recreational activities.
- Accompany and support children (6-13), including those with learning difficulties and fragile family situations.
- Design and deliver cultural, creative activities, language workshops and events, summer camps and outdoor activities.
- Provide support, create an inclusive and stimulating environment, promote personal development of people with mild disabilities, promote solidarity and vulnerable people's rights.
Required Experience
No specific qualification or degree requirements but the intention to operate within the social sector and to support children and young people in extra-curricular activities. The volunteer should be able to welcome people with mild disability and interact with empathy with them.
