Overview
Consultants are expected to conduct evaluations of various projects, programmes, and other components for the UN Secretariat. This generic job opening aims to create a pool of evaluation experts for programme managers.
Key Responsibilities
- Elaborating on evaluation design and producing an inception report
- Collecting and analysing data
- Interpreting evaluation findings and drawing conclusions
- Making recommendations and communicating findings through reports, presentations, or other means of dissemination
Required Experience
A minimum of five years of experience in conducting evaluation is required.
Qualifications
An advanced level university degree (Masters’ degree or equivalent) is required in Business or Public Administration, Management, Evaluation, International development, international relations, Social sciences, legal affairs or related fields. A first-level university degree in combination with 2 additional years of qualifying experience may be accepted in lieu of the advanced university degree.
