Overview
Volunteering positions are open at the Educational Centre and community school DOBROdružstvo. Activities involve working with children and students, assisting teachers, teaching English, preparing projects, and participating in community events.
Key Responsibilities
- working directly with the children and students 3-15 years old
- assistance to teachers and educators
- teaching English (or other foreign) language
- preparing and organising own personal project, activities or workshops
- assistance in a school-club with afternoon classes (art, ceramics, music, sport or drama)
- accompanying students during Friday’s “going out” (weekly trip to a gallery, museum or nature - learning outside)
- participation in a community events (raft, picnic, cycling)
- little administrative work (taking photos, creating materials, posters, writing blog)
Required Experience
Experience in work with children or interest in Montessori education is an advantage but not necessary.
