Overview
The EU Contracting Analyst will support resource mobilization, ensure compliance with EU contractual frameworks, and assist UNDP offices with understanding and complying with EU implementation requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Support resource mobilization strategies and revision of EU proposals.
- Assist UNDP Offices to understand and comply with EU contractual milestones and implementation requirements.
- Assist UNDP Offices with securing clearance of all agreements sent to the Brussels Office for review.
- Oversee the collection, analysis and systematization of data pertaining to the EC-UN/UNDP partnership.
- Liaise with Country Offices and Regional Bureaux and assist in guiding them during verifications.
- Support Country Offices/Regional Bureaux on EU-funded projects regarding financial and administrative aspects.
- Review budgets and financial reports for EU-funded projects.
- Maintain data on EU-funded projects and reporting.
- Support the organization of training and project events and meetings.
- Perform other duties as may be assigned.
Required Experience
- Minimum 1 year of relevant proven working experience in finance, accounting, and budget monitoring is mandatory, including at least 1 year of proven experience in field audit or legal activities.
- Experience with European Union (EU ) funding instruments and contractual aspects (including verifications), financial management, and reporting is required.
Qualifications
Master's degree in Economics; Social Sciences; Law; International Relations or related field.
