Overview
The Project Associate for EW4All Project supports the effective operational and financial management of the EW4All project, ensuring compliance with UNDP and Green Climate Fund requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide financial management support for effective programme/project implementation, including liaising with UNDP teams, preparing and maintaining financial records, processing payments, managing travel and DSA, assisting with financing agreements, monitoring contributions and resources, monitoring sub-grantee financial progress, identifying risks, preparing budget work-plans and reports, supporting procurement plans, maintaining documentation and filing systems, and preparing financial reports.
- Provide administrative and logistic support to projects planning and implementation, including administrative support for planning, implementation, and monitoring, HR-related processes, arranging schedules and travels, organizing meetings/workshops, drafting correspondence, maintaining project assets and inventory, preparing procurement plans, supporting project board meetings, project formulation/extension/closure, coordinating travel and accommodation, and providing interpretation and translation support.
- Support knowledge management and knowledge sharing by assisting project teams with publications, events, workshops, and conferences, participating in training, sharing knowledge and best practices, and providing guidance to project counterparts on financial management, compliance, and UNDP procedures.
Required Experience
A minimum of 6 years (with secondary education) or 3 years (with a bachelor’s degree) of progressively responsible experience in programme, project operations, administration, and financial management.
Qualifications
Secondary Education is required; or Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in business administration, public administration, finance, accounting, or related fields. Professional certification in accounting and/or finance, procurement, or project management is an advantage.
