The World Economic Forum is recruiting an Events Security Specialist to act as the deputy to the Global Events Security Manager, providing leadership and support for event security operations.


Key Responsibilities
  • Act as deputy to the Global Events Security Manager, ensuring continuity and leadership across all event security activities
  • Support the planning and execution of security operations for major events
  • Independently lead and deliver security planning and operations for smaller and mid-sized events
  • Oversee security concepts and operational plans across the event portfolio
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external partners, including Swiss and international law enforcement, and vendors
  • Provide on-site leadership during events, including team coordination and incident management
Required Experience
  • Previous experience working in the field of security, law enforcement or military.
  • Experience in project management
Qualifications

Academic degree or equivalent

Excellent oral and written communication skills in English, French and German
Languages Preferred
