Overview
The Multilingual Output Production Assistant proofreads and formats content for dissemination, ensuring accuracy and consistency in Spanish.
Key Responsibilities
- Proofread content in Spanish for accuracy and consistency.
- Archive and disseminate finalized content.
- Compile and process content including PMO documents, correspondence, web articles, publications and advocacy materials.
- Check and format content, including tables and figures.
- Carry out other duties such as aligning translated texts, transcribing statements, preparing files for translation software and providing backup.
- Suggest improvements to work practices and workflows.
- Perform tasks related to the maintenance of the central terminology database.
- Undertake tasks related to the processing of large and complex documents.
- Provide training and guidance to freelancers and other assistants.
- Assist in identifying and addressing software-related problems.
Required Experience
- Minimum of five years of relevant working experience.
- Experience in processing and proofreading Spanish texts with a high standard of speed and accuracy.
Qualifications
Completed secondary education.
