Strengthen UNICEF’s global Education in Emergencies (EiE) response capacity by enhancing programme management, knowledge generation, data collection, monitoring and evaluation, reporting, communication, advocacy, and capacity-building.
Enhance programme management, knowledge generation and management, data collection, monitoring and evaluation, reporting, communication, humanitarian advocacy, and capacity-building. Support Country Offices in strengthening evidence-based programming across emergencies, focusing on data and evidence. Translate programme results into insights and advocacy messages. Amplify country-level achievements and challenges globally. Strengthen coordination, reporting, monitoring, knowledge-sharing, and technical capacity. Support preparedness, response, recovery, and resilience-building efforts, with attention to the MENA region.
Minimum 5–8 years of progressively responsible professional experience in Education in Emergencies (EiE), humanitarian programming, programme monitoring and evaluation (M&E), data management, and/or education responses for displaced, refugee, asylum-seeking, migrant, and other children on the move. Demonstrated experience supporting humanitarian coordination, emergency reporting, information management, and evidence generation in Level 2 and/or Level 3 emergency contexts. Proven experience in monitoring humanitarian indicators and supporting reporting processes. Strong experience in data collection, harmonization, analysis, visualization, and the development of analytical products. Proven experience producing high-quality technical and knowledge products. Experience facilitating knowledge-sharing initiatives, technical consultations, workshops, and inter-agency collaboration processes. Previous experience working with UNICEF and/or within inter-agency humanitarian coordination mechanisms is strongly desirable. Experience developing dashboards, reporting tools, monitoring frameworks, SOPs, guidance materials, and knowledge management systems. Familiarity with UNICEF guidance and policies related to children on the move, refugee inclusion, and humanitarian programming. Experience supporting communication and advocacy efforts related to Education in Emergencies and humanitarian response.
Advanced university degree (Master’s degree or higher) in Education, Education in Emergencies, International Development, Social Sciences, Public Policy, International Relations, Humanitarian Affairs, Monitoring and Evaluation, Data Management, or another relevant field related to humanitarian and development programming.
