Overview
Support the coordination, monitoring, and implementation of the Caribbean Communications Strategy, working closely with the Regional Communications Team and a team of Online Volunteers.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the coordination and implementation of the Caribbean Communications and Brand Positioning Strategy and its corresponding Action Plan.
- Coordinate the work of three Online Volunteers supporting editorial writing and graphic design.
- Support the development and dissemination of communications products that contribute to strengthening the visibility, public engagement and regional positioning of UNV across the Caribbean.
- Maintain and update a tracking system for planned communications products, deliverables and timelines.
- Review communications products developed by the Online Volunteer team, provide recommendations to ensure consistency, quality, narrative coherence, and alignment with the communications strategy, and support validation processes with the Regional Communications Team.
- Liaise regularly with UNV focal points and relevant colleagues in the Caribbean to gather inputs, facilitate content collection, support validation processes, and ensure ongoing coordination for the implementation of the communications strategy.
- Monitor implementation progress and document achievements, challenges, lessons learned and recommendations.
Required Experience
Experience in communications, strategic storytelling, content coordination, or related fields. Strong organizational and project management skills. Ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders and work collaboratively in virtual environments. Experience supporting communications strategies, campaigns or content planning is desirable.
