Overview
The Comprehensive Refugee Service (CRS) Intern will assist the CRS team with service delivery to refugees, asylum seekers, and parolees, ensuring adherence to contract stipulations and program mottos of Safety, Service, and Compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Help with document management, including scanning and filing documents
- Complete data entry and note taking tasks
- Assist clients with developing their problem-solving skills, empowering them to handle situations independently and supporting their self-sufficiency
- Accompany caseworkers to appointments and support them with service delivery
- Adhere to all IRC work ethics while serving clients
- Collaborate effectively with CRS staff and external community providers partnered with CRS
- Attend and actively participate in staff meetings and special staff development programs
