Overview
The Information Management Officer will contribute to the development, configuration, and enhancement of information management systems within the ArcGIS environment, supporting their integration and maintenance.
Key Responsibilities
- Development of data collection tools and methodologies, and design/management of database systems.
- Maintenance and administration of the DRC beneficiary database.
- Implementation of functional features and user interfaces, such as dashboards and databases.
- Collaboration with other departments to improve the product based on feedback.
- Conduct data analysis to identify trends and patterns.
- Support Team Leaders in technical application of the database.
- Provide training to colleagues on how to use the IM system.
- Generate monitoring reports and perform backup operations.
- Perform weekly data quality checks.
- Ensure beneficiary data is consolidated and up-to-date.
- Support in providing beneficiary lists and data for monitoring activities.
- Apply data program techniques and procedures.
- Keep all data protected and confidential in line with DRC’s Information Management Standard Operating Procedures (SoPs).
Required Experience
At least 2 years of experience in developing data collection and analysis tools within the Esri / ArcGIS Online environment.
Qualifications
University degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, Statistics, Social Sciences or a relevant field.
