Overview
The consultant will assist in conducting the SMART 2026 survey in Guinea, focusing on evaluating the nutritional status of children under five and contributing factors.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate the nutritional status of children under five.
- Assess factors contributing to malnutrition, including morbidities, vaccination coverage, vitamin A supplementation coverage, and infant and young child feeding practices.
Required Experience
- At least 3 years of experience in national surveys.
- Proven experience in data management.
- Proven experience of at least 2 years in programming XLSForm/KoboCollect forms and managing/cleaning nutritional databases.
- Participation in at least two SMART, EDS, or MICS surveys as a principal or assistant.
- Proficiency in electronic data collection tools.
- Good knowledge of statistical analysis.
- Good writing skills.
Qualifications
Bachelor/License in Public Health, Epidemiology, Statistics, Nutrition, or related field.
