Overview
The Finance Intern will support the Finance Department with archiving, audit and compliance, and administrative tasks. The role aims to ensure proper archiving of financial documents and support departmental operations.
Key Responsibilities
- In charge of the proper archiving of all accounting documents and financial archives kept within the Office in Yaoundé;
- Responsibility for checking that accounting documents are in good condition, legible, easily consultable, stored in a secure and professional manner, while ensuring the proper maintenance of the stored documents;
- In charge of the regular digitization (scanning) of accounting documents and the electronic archiving/filing of these documents according to the standards defined by DRC;
- Operational support to all colleagues in the Finance Department, as well as potentially to the Support Departments (Supply Chain and Human Resources) if required by senior management.
- Support from the Finance Department in the event of an audit or preparation for audits (scanning of documents, archiving, etc.);
- Responsibility to collect all the supporting documents necessary for the accounting document to be considered complete and compliant;
- Support for bank liaison
- Support for liaison with the tax department
Required Experience
An previous experience with International NGOs is an advantage
Qualifications
- Academic level equivalent to a minimum Bac+2, university in the field of Finance/Accounting, Project Management, Business Administration or Bioforce type training;
- Excellent command of Microsoft Office;
- Excellent command of Excel tools;
- Excellent analytical and reporting skills;
- Excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to work under pressure and stressful conditions;
- Good understanding of the working environment in an international environment.
