Overview
Provide high-level counsel and expert advice to the Head of Mission and leadership group to facilitate decision-making and ensure effective implementation of the Mission’s mandate.
Key Responsibilities
- Advise on Mission Mandate Implementation, including strategic framework adherence.
- Recommend approaches to senior leadership on priorities, policy, and administrative practices.
- Promote integration of programmatic and administrative activities.
- Support preparations for HoM’s engagements with international and institutional partners.
- Support systematic integration of gender equality approaches.
- Advise on local dialogue approaches.
- Perform other advisory functions as required.
- Submit monthly progress reports.
- Submit a comprehensive final report.
- Support delivery of a Mission-wide end-of-year event and produce a final summary report.
Required Experience
At least 10 years of diversified, progressively responsible professional experience, including a minimum of five years in senior management—preferably with demonstrated leadership in an OSCE field mission. Proven understanding of, and experience working in the Kosovo context. Experience working in field operations within South Eastern Europe.
Qualifications
Master’s degree (or equivalent advanced training) in Management, International Relations, or a related field.
