Overview
Project Assistant (G5) to support an extra-budgetary project on media literacy, legal frameworks, and legal standards in Albania.
Key Responsibilities
- Drafting routine and non-routine correspondence, working documents, and background material related to media projects, including concept notes and sections of reports.
- Assisting in project activity development and implementation by liaising with counterparts and facilitating their participation.
- Performing administrative tasks such as scheduling meetings, reservations, budget follow-up, and preparing requisitions and travel requests.
- Tracking pending matters, following up on deadlines, and monitoring project budgets and expenditures.
- Conducting computer-based searches, collating, selecting, and interpreting information for project activities and events.
- Assisting in the preparation of papers and presentations by extracting and summarizing statistics.
Required Experience
- Minimum five years of relevant working experience in administrative, programme, or project support functions within international organizations, public institutions, civil society organizations or private sector entities.
- Experience in organizing events, coordinating administrative processes, and supporting project implementation.
Qualifications
Completed secondary education supplemented by specialized training or studies in general administration, social sciences or similar fields.
