Overview

Internship opportunity within the OSCE's Economic and Environmental Dimension, focusing on supporting programmatic areas related to economic and environmental security and stability.


Key Responsibilities
  • Drafting research papers, policy reports, concept papers, and other written materials.
  • Assisting in project management and implementation, including proposal preparation and progress reporting.
  • Conducting thematic research, assisting with legal document revision, media monitoring, surveys, and financial analyses.
  • Supporting communication-related events and outreach activities.
  • Supporting the organization of events, meetings, workshops, and conferences.
  • Attending meetings, taking minutes, drafting official records, and writing reports.
  • Supporting daily operational work in administrative departments.
  • Assisting senior managers in preparing for trips and meetings by compiling background documents and managing logistics.
Required Experience
  • Previous work experience in a relevant field is an asset.
  • Experience of working in a multilateral/multicultural environment is an asset.
Qualifications
  • Completed two years of full-time post-secondary education or graduated within two years prior to the deadline.
  • Education in a relevant field, such as economics, environmental science, developmental studies, international development, finance or similar fields.

Languages Required
Professionally fluent in English, both oral and written, and have the ability to communicate clearly and concisely.
Languages Preferred
Working knowledge of at least one other language from the OSCE region is an asset.

Remuneration
The OSCE does not provide remuneration to interns or reimbursement for their travel expenses. The receiving office shall contribute towards the cost of living of international and national interns who are non-residents at the duty station. The OSCE will cover life and disability insurance.
