Overview
The role is responsible for managing processes related to asylum seekers, refugees, and other persons of concern in Manta, Ecuador, under the supervision of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Human Mobility.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct informative sessions on the process for persons of concern.
- Conduct admissibility, eligibility, family reunification, and review interviews.
- Prepare technical reports on admissibility, review, and eligibility analysis with recommendations, including country of origin information research.
- Register data of asylum seekers, refugees, and other persons of concern in the Progres database.
- Manage database information based on activities performed.
- Implement directives, guidelines, and protocols from the Directorate of International Protection.
- Provide analytical and statistical reports on activities.
- Undertake field missions as instructed.
- Perform other assigned tasks.
Required Experience
Minimum of one (1) year of experience in human rights and human mobility. Experience in assisting vulnerable populations is desirable.
Qualifications
University degree or graduate in Law, Social Sciences, or related disciplines.
