Overview

Provides day-to-day operational HR support to assigned Divisions/Independent Offices, ensuring accurate HR administration, timely coordination, effective onboarding, and consistent application of HR policies and procedures. Acts as the first point of contact for staff inquiries.


Key Responsibilities
  • Acts as the initial point of contact for operational HR and policy related queries.
  • Supports and coordinates end-to-end onboarding administration for all categories of staff.
  • Provides accurate and high-quality HR support in assigned portfolio.
  • Works with Talent Acquisition Unit to ensure smooth recruitment process and provides guidance to hiring managers.
  • Acts as HR Representative and/or Panel Secretary in selection panels.
  • Provides administrative support for internal transfers and analyses alternative staffing options.
  • Initiates and coordinates measures for contract renewals.
  • Contributes to coherence and completeness of HR information, tracking tools or repositories.
Required Experience

At least 3 years of administrative management experience, ideally in an international organisation and/or environment. Experience in roles requiring customer service and advisory skills.

Qualifications

University degree or an equivalent level of qualification.

Other Details
Languages Required
Possess the following minimum levels of NATO’s official languages (English/French): V (“Advanced”) in one; and III (“Intermediate”) in the other.
Languages Preferred
Experience in HR administration, recruitment, or other areas of HR; familiarity with NATO work-flows, procedures and practices.
Contract Duration
Definite duration contract of three years; possibility of renewal for up to three years.
