Overview
The Senior Project Associate (Institutional Donor Engagement) supports IOM Netherlands' engagement with institutional donors, focusing on donor relations, resource mobilization, and stewardship activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as focal point supporting institutional donor engagement for IOM Netherlands.
- Serve as national COMPASS focal point.
- Support the implementation and monitoring of fundraising and donor engagement initiatives.
- Coordinate the preparation and organization of donor meetings, briefings and high-level donor visits.
- Act as GRMN focal point for IOM Netherlands.
- Serve as CRM focal point.
- Provide inputs to donor updates, briefing notes, concept notes and tailored engagement materials.
- Support coordination with SRO Brussels, RO Vienna and Headquarters on donor engagement.
- Monitor institutional donor priorities, funding trends and risks.
- Maintain documentation and reporting of donor engagement activities and contacts.
- Perform any other related duties as required.
Required Experience
- High school diploma with six years of relevant professional experience; or Bachelor’s degree with four years of relevant professional experience.
- Experience in donor relations, fundraising, external relations or institutional partnerships.
- Experience coordinating donor engagement, reporting or resource mobilization processes is an asset.
- Previous experience in an international organization, UN agency or governmental context is an advantage.
Qualifications
High school diploma or Bachelor’s degree in International Relations, Political Science, Development Studies, Economics, Business Administration or a related field from an accredited academic institution.
