Overview

Provide assistance for the implementation of Assisted Voluntary Return and Reintegration projects, focusing on operational support, quality assurance, and communication activities.


Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the implementation, coordination and monitoring of assisted voluntary return and reintegration activities.
  • Retrieve, compile, summarize, analyze, and present information/data on project topics, including communication activities.
  • Monitor budget, verify fund availability, obtain approvals, and update budget information.
  • Coordinate communication-related expenses.
  • Draft status reports and suggest remedial actions.
  • Prepare and update reports, briefing notes, graphics, statistical tables, and presentations.
  • Respond to information requests, maintain files, and organize meetings, workshops, and training sessions.
  • Participate in meetings and conferences.
  • Assist in coordinating implementation activities with local authorities, partners, UN agencies, and other stakeholders.
  • Liaison with the Ministry of the Interior and the Federal Agency for Reception and Support Services.
  • Assist in monitoring work of implementing partners and report non-compliances.
  • Provide guidance/training to new/junior staff.
Required Experience
  • School diploma with five years of relevant experience; or, Bachelor’s degree with three years of relevant professional experience.
  • Experience in liaising with governmental authorities, national/international institutions, United Nations agencies and non-governmental organizations.
  • Experience in working with migrants, refugees, internally displaced persons, victims of trafficking and other vulnerable groups.
  • Prior work experience with international humanitarian organizations, non-government or government institutions/organization in a multi-cultural setting is an advantage.
  • Experience with website maintenance (Drupal), content management, and website analytics/tracking tools (e.g. Matomo) is an advantage.
Qualifications

School diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Political or Social Sciences, International Relations, Development Studies, Migration Studies, Human Rights, Law or related fields from an accredited academic institution.
