Consultancy to build institutional capacity and generate knowledge on gender-transformative climate-resilient infrastructure in Vanuatu.
Minimum 7 years of relevant professional experience in gender equality and violence against women and girls. Proven experience integrating GEDSI, violence against women and girls and climate resilience into infrastructure policy, planning and development. Demonstrated experience conducting gender analyses, policy reviews, and developing technical or advocacy products. Experience working in Vanuatu and/or Pacific Island Countries. Proven experience developing and delivering training and capacity-building programmes for government and other stakeholders. Experience in working with relevant government agencies will be considered an advantage. Prior experience with IOM or a relevant UN agency will be considered an advantage.
Masters Degree Gender Studies, Development Studies, Climate Change, Environmental Management, Disaster Risk Management, Infrastructure Planning, Sociology, Public Policy, International Development, Human Rights or related field from an accredited academic institution.
