Overview
The role is responsible for designing, implementing, and scaling a project focused on digital literacy and skills for marginalized youth in Bangladesh. The purpose is to equip them with digital literacy, online safety awareness, and resilience to thrive in a digital world, while also supporting economic empowerment.
Key Responsibilities
- Designing, implementing, and scaling the project.
- Providing technical input to achieve programme outcomes.
- Ensuring gender and inclusive approaches are embedded in the project.
- Generating and using learning.
- Ensuring evidence-based interventions to build knowledge and digital skills of adolescents and youth.
- Mobilizing communities to create a supportive environment to protect them.
- Close coordination with project partners and stakeholders.
- Ensuring timely and quality delivery of outputs and outcomes through training, campaigns, advocacy initiatives, and dissemination of project learnings and good practices.
Required Experience
- At least eight (8) years of progressive professional experience in managing complex, donor-funded development programmes, with demonstrated expertise in digital literacy, digital skills, online safety, digital inclusion, youth empowerment, e-learning, skills development, or technology-enabled education programmes.
- Proven experience in project cycle management, including project planning, implementation, budget management, monitoring, evaluation, reporting, risk management, and donor compliance.
- Demonstrated experience in developing and managing digital learning products, e-learning platforms, online learning solutions, or digital content within the development, education, or private sector.
Qualifications
Bachelor or Master's degree in Information Systems, Development Studies, Education, Business Administration, Social Sciences, Public Policy, or a related discipline from a recognized university.
