Overview

Support the daily operational management of pharmacies and pharmacist activities in the assigned region, providing technical support and monitoring pharmacy delivery according to national protocol and donor standards.


Key Responsibilities
  • Prepares and hands over medications and medical supplies to targeted Health facilities.
  • Completes pharmacy operational requirements by organizing and directing technicians' work flow.
  • Manages stock movement and ensures stores are maintained according to standards.
  • Collects and submits monthly consumption reports.
  • Maintains appropriate inventory on pharmaceutical and medical supplies.
  • Updates and enters data to drug management systems.
  • Ensures no shortage of medicines and medical supplies.
  • Conducts capacity building of staff through supervision and training.
  • Manages, monitors, and evaluates stock in Health facilities and warehouses.
  • Liaises with other implementing partners and local authorities.
  • Attends health management and coordination meetings.
Required Experience

More than 3 years of relevant work experience in pharmacy, ideally including in humanitarian – health INGO. Strong experience in GIK management. Experience in representation and interaction with partners & government officials. Experience staff training and capacity building of national structures. Previous experience of working with a multi-cultural team.

Qualifications

Bachelor degree in pharmaceutical sciences.
