Overview

This role involves leading a team, building relationships with partners, ensuring project quality, and contributing to program design, monitoring, and evaluation.


Key Responsibilities
  • Model Christian leadership and nurture staff spirituality.
  • Facilitate a positive working environment and build staff capacity.
  • Maintain and strengthen relationships with key partners and government institutions.
  • Represent the organization in technical working groups.
  • Coordinate and network for technical resources.
  • Develop TOR, manage training logistics and finance.
  • Monitor project spending against budget.
  • Manage and report on budgets according to accountability standards.
  • Ensure community and staff are informed of recent approaches.
  • Identify training needs and conduct training.
  • Support report writing and submission.
  • Provide strategic leadership to program quality reviews.
  • Assist in humanitarian emergency disaster management.
Required Experience

A minimum of two years of appropriate professional experience (Child Health, DRR and Climate Change Adaptation). Demonstrated experience in project design, implementation, monitoring, evaluation and report writing. Proven leadership ability and experience as a team.

Qualifications

University degree in a relevant technical field (e.g. Public Health, Development Studies, Philosophy & Social Science and Humanity).
