Overview
This role focuses on leading and coordinating development projects, building relationships with partners, ensuring technical quality, and managing program design, monitoring, and evaluation.
Key Responsibilities
- Model Christian leadership and nurture staff spirituality.
- Facilitate a positive working environment and build staff capacity.
- Maintain and strengthen relationships with key partners, including government institutions.
- Represent the organization in technical working groups.
- Facilitate teamwork, coordination, and work planning.
- Ensure integration of DRR and WASH programming.
- Coordinate and network for technical resources.
- Develop TOR, manage training logistics and finance.
- Monitor project spending against budget and manage reports.
- Provide training and coaching on Transformational Development Principles.
- Support project design and DME processes.
- Ensure monitoring systems and tools are developed and used.
- Coordinate revisions of plans and budgets.
- Write and submit draft Project Semi-Annual and Annual Reports.
- Provide strategic leadership to Programmed Quality Self-Review and PQ Matrix review.
- Engage with government and churches for sustainability and scaling up.
- Assist in humanitarian emergency disaster management.
Required Experience
A minimum of two years of appropriate professional experience (Child Health, DRR and Climate Change Adaptation). Demonstrated experience in project design, implementation, monitoring, evaluation and report writing. Proven leadership ability and experience as a team.
Qualifications
University degree in a relevant technical field (e.g. Public Health, Development Studies, Philosophy & Social Science and Humanity).
