Overview
The role is responsible for leading and coordinating project activities, building relationships with partners, ensuring technical quality assurance, and supporting program design, monitoring, and evaluation.
Key Responsibilities
- Model Christian leadership and facilitate a positive working environment.
- Build staff capacity through coaching and mentoring.
- Maintain and strengthen relationships with key partners and government institutions.
- Represent the organization in technical working groups.
- Facilitate teamwork and coordinate work planning.
- Support the integration of DRR and WASH programming.
- Develop Terms of Reference and manage logistics and finance for activities.
- Monitor project spending against budget and report on variances.
- Provide training and coaching on Transformational Development Principles.
- Support the completion of project designs and DME processes.
- Ensure monitoring systems and tools are developed and used.
- Coordinate revisions of plans and budgets.
- Write and submit draft Project Semi-Annual and Annual Reports.
- Provide strategic leadership to Programmed Quality Self-Review processes.
- Assist in humanitarian emergency disaster management.
Required Experience
A minimum of two years of appropriate professional experience in Child Health, DRR and Climate Change Adaptation. Demonstrated experience in project design, implementation, monitoring, evaluation and report writing. Proven leadership ability and experience as a team.
Qualifications
University degree in a relevant technical field (e.g. Public Health, Development Studies, Philosophy & Social Science and Humanity).
