Overview
Support the implementation and coordination of the TERRA initiative at the global level, ensuring strategic alignment among members and partners, and facilitating policy, technical, and operational processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate and support founding organizations and country partners in implementing agreed priorities and activities.
- Facilitate peer-to-peer learning and knowledge-sharing.
- Facilitate policy, technical and operational processes of TERRA.
- Develop and monitor implementation of the annual work plan and budget.
- Monitor progress and results.
- Provide regular updates to the SC and TERRA partners.
- Support the development of TERRA’s resource mobilization strategy.
- Strengthen national and international partnerships.
- Support managing potential conflicts of interest.
- Plan, organize and facilitate regular meetings of the SC and TERRA partners.
- Draft documents for discussion and approval by the SC.
- Organize public events and support outreach and communication efforts.
- Maintain effective liaison with TERRA partners.
- Support potential workstreams to be assigned among partners.
- Elaborate monitoring reports on the implementation progress of TERRA activities, workplan and budget.
- Elaborate general reports to guide SC on decision-making.
Required Experience
At least 5 years of progressively responsible professional experience in the design, coordination, and implementation of programs and initiatives related to sustainable rural development, agroecology, productive forests, landscape restoration, climate action, biodiversity conservation, bioeconomy, or related fields.
Qualifications
Advanced university degree in Environmental Sciences, Agriculture, Rural Development, Public Policy, International Relations, Economics, Public Administration, Project Management, or a related field
