Overview

The Software Quality Assurance Engineer ensures compliance of development activities with established policies, processes, procedures, and standards by defining, collecting, and analyzing quality metrics for process and product improvement. The role also involves participating in product/service design reviews, testing, configuration control, problem reporting, and change control.


Key Responsibilities
  • Perform project quality assurance reviews and audits for all active projects in the Division.
  • Participate with project teams in software testing, test results analysis, and improving test procedures.
  • Participate in independent reviews of project planning documents and acceptance procedures.
  • Define and collect quality metrics to provide analysis of their trends and correlations.
  • Prepare inputs for quality status reports.
  • Assist the quality assurance manager in coaching and supporting development teams in the Division.
Required Experience

Minimum five years of practical relevant working experience of which at least two years should be in software quality assurance and/or quality control.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree - University degree in computer science, information technology or a related discipline. Other - Certification in quality management and/or a degree in system engineering is desirable.

Languages Preferred
Knowledge of other official IAEA languages (Arabic, Chinese, French, Russian and Spanish) is an asset.

Remuneration
The IAEA offers an attractive remuneration package including a tax-free annual net base salary starting at US $71335 (subject to mandatory deductions for pension contributions and health insurance), a variable post adjustment which currently amounts to US $ 36310*, dependency benefits, rental subsidy, education grant, relocation and repatriation expenses; Other benefits include 6 weeks' annual leave, home leave travel, pension plan and health insurance.
