Overview
Support the coordination and implementation of designated project activities, providing administrative and logistical support to ensure project results, and assisting in networking and communication with partners and beneficiaries.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the coordination and implementation of project activities.
- Provide support to projects’ monitoring and evaluation activities, data collection, and database updates.
- Assist in the preparation of progress reports and proposals for remedial actions.
- Participate in and assist in the organization of project activities, events, and communication activities.
- Ensure compliance with UNDP rules, regulations, policies, and procedures.
- Support the organization and coordination of meetings, training sessions, workshops, conferences, and project events.
- Assist in managing project finances, processing invoices, preparing budgets, and maintaining budgetary controls.
- Assist in managing procurement processes, preparing tender documentation, and supporting vendor creation and e-requisitions.
- Assist in drafting terms of references for consultants and contractors and support their recruitment.
- Assist project teams, experts, and consultants with travel and logistics.
- Coordinate and organize trainings, field visits, missions, and conferences.
- Maintain accurate electronic and paper filing, information, and records systems.
- Maintain cooperation and communication with projects’ partners and beneficiaries.
- Maintain the contact database related to partners and beneficiaries.
- Prepare official correspondences for national and international partners.
- Support knowledge building, knowledge sharing, and capacity building activities.
- Participate in training and organize briefings on internal procedures.
- Provide support to capacity building activities, including design and delivery of tools and materials.
- Support the dissemination and sharing of relevant data and lessons learned.
- Keep pulse on emerging best practices nationally, regionally, and internationally.
- Make contributions to knowledge networks and communities of practice.
- Support compiling and systematizing project knowledge, products, and tools.
Required Experience
Minimum six (6) years (with secondary education) or three (3) years (with bachelor’s degree) of working experience in the field of Programme/ project support or other related fields.
Qualifications
Secondary Education is required. University degree (Bachelor’s degree) in Business Administration, Management, Economics, Human Resources, Finance, Accounting, Social Sciences, or other related fields will be given due consideration, but is not a requirement.
