Overview
The Head of Award and Donor Compliance role is responsible for overseeing all aspects of award management and donor compliance within the country office, ensuring adherence to the highest standards throughout the award cycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Define the strategic direction of the awards management and donor compliance unit.
- Provide guidance to New Business Development Managers on proposals and budgets.
- Ensure the Award Management System (AMS) is maintained and up to date.
- Ensure key staff and partners understand donor compliance requirements.
- Coordinate the preparation of timely programme and donor reports.
- Build a high performing Awards team and lead capacity building initiatives.
- Support sub-grant management processes, including partner assessment and vetting.
Required Experience
At least 7 years of experience in award management procedures and processes in development organization(s), with 5 years specifically working in AWARD.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in business administration, Development studies or relevant field.
