Overview
The Community Mobilizer will implement response and recovery activities for the Philippines South Mindanao Earthquake Response, focusing on interventions in Shelter, Livelihoods, WASH, Health, Education, and Protection.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure timely and quality implementation of response activities and strategize day-to-day activities.
- Ensure programme planning is informed by technical standards and operational viability.
- Ensure coordination with stakeholders, beneficiary targeting, and validation are participatory, equal, transparent, and conflict-sensitive.
- Ensure post-distribution documentation is properly accomplished, including disaggregation by sex, age, and disability.
- Ensure feedback from stakeholders is acted upon and endorsed as necessary.
- Plan and conduct sector-specific humanitarian interventions.
- Coordinate with Support services for timely provision of funds, staff, equipment, vehicles, and supplies.
- Identify, report, and refer operational blockages to the Response Manager and Security.
Required Experience
- Experience in community engagement of field work.
- Experience in Emergency Response.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in relevant field or with relevant field experience.
